A touch of color
When adding elements to my pieces I layer colored slips, underglazes and decals. Slip and undergalze give me a wide range of color that I layer on top of each other, and over decals before the first firing.
New techniques and materials are ever changing in ceramics. The untamed patterns on each piece are never the same and often incorporates different colors, shapes, textures, and sizes. The color you see and the textures you feel give you a more intimate experience with the piece.
